AN EXCERPT FROM THE BLIND MAN "I had been born to become a whimpering being trapped in this shell of a body that is darker than the unlit world we lived in. Slugging around to be the symbol of resentment for everyone that encountered me. Chapping away toothless gums in a futile attempt to persuade someone to care enought ot spare something to help me persist this distressing existence. Always being the hand that reached out for something, but haveing the dirty, smelly fingers reaching for nothing but emptiness. I was a worm in a sea of worms. A small, insignificant pebble caked with mud and muck. Hidden from all that was bright and worthy. Carelessly tossed about at the feet of the better. I was the blind begger..."
